Amazon Requires 7-Day Delivery Window for FBA Shipments to Five European Countries Starting September

According to foreign media reports, Amazon recently issued a notice for the European market stating that starting September 1, 2026, international FBA inventory shipments sent by non-partnered carriers to Amazon's fulfillment centers in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain must provide a seven-day delivery window. This policy covers the shipping cycle for the fourth quarter. Shipments that fail to provide an accurate window as required or whose arrival time deviates from the specified range may face delays or restrictions in warehouse receiving.

It is understood that the delivery window refers to the date range when the shipment is expected to arrive at Amazon's fulfillment center. Accurate submission of relevant information helps Amazon prepare for the receiving process in advance and avoid processing delays. If the submitted information is non-compliant, Amazon may not be able to complete inventory check-in quickly, which will directly affect sellers' ability to fulfill consumer orders.

The delivery window only applies to shipments from non-partnered carriers and is clearly distinguished from the shipping date. The shipping date is the specific date when the seller dispatches the shipment to the fulfillment center, while the delivery window is the expected arrival time interval of the shipment.

Sellers using non-partnered carriers need to check Amazon's publicly available receiving timeliness data in advance to ensure the accuracy of the submitted delivery window information. Starting September 1, 2026, sellers must fill in a seven-day delivery window during the Send to Amazon workflow when creating international shipments. Sellers using Amazon's integrated solutions are not affected by this operational adjustment. For shipments that opt for the Partnered Carrier program or Amazon Global Logistics services, the delivery window will continue to be automatically generated by the system.
