eBay Germany to Launch International Shipping Service in September 2026

As of August 12, eBay plans to roll out its international shipping service in phases across the German market starting September 2026. Eligible sellers will be automatically enrolled in the program without additional application requirements: they only need to ship domestic orders to the Duisburg transit hub, while the platform will handle all subsequent procedures including customs clearance, international transportation and returns processing. The service currently covers orders with a single item value of no more than 1,000 euros. eBay also provides coverage for lost, damaged and delayed shipments, and waives international fees related to cross-border transactions.
