Shopee Malaysia Site to Stop Manual RIOC/ITRR Claim Submissions Starting October 1

On August 8, it was announced that Shopee Malaysia's local seller site will cease accepting manual reverse shipping fee claims stemming from Return in Original Condition (RIOC) and In-Transit Return and Refund (ITRR) cases starting October 1, 2026. Going forward, eligible sellers' related shipping costs will be automatically covered under the Seller Shipping Fee Savings Scheme (SSFS), officially phasing out the manual claim submission model. The platform has also opened a registration window from September 1 to 28, where sellers who successfully join the program will enjoy a free trial for the entire month of October. The system will automatically identify return scenarios that meet the policy requirements and process reverse shipping fee offsets accordingly. This move aims to reduce unreasonable claim cases while driving a shift from manual after-sales cost management to standardized, automated settlement.
