North American E-commerce Logistics Firm Stord Raises $250 Million at $3 Billion Valuation

According to foreign media reports, North American e-commerce logistics company Stord has announced the completion of a $250 million funding round, achieving a post-money valuation of $3 billion. This valuation has doubled compared to its funding round one year ago. This round was led by Strike Capital, with participation from Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Franklin Templeton, Baillie Gifford, G Squared, and Bond.

Public information shows that Stord was co-founded in 2015 by Sean Henry and Jacob Boudreaux, who were students at the Georgia Institute of Technology at the time. They serve as the company's CEO and CTO, respectively. The company experienced rapid growth during the high-risk investment fervor of the pandemic, achieving unicorn status in 2021.

Successfully navigating the subsequent venture capital downturn, Stord completed a $200 million funding round in 2025, also led by Strike Capital, with a post-money valuation of $1.5 billion at that time. To date, Stord has raised a cumulative total of approximately $775 million.

It is reported that Stord operates a physical warehousing network and inventory management software, positioning itself as an alternative to Amazon's fulfillment services. It helps brands improve delivery speed while allowing them to retain ownership of customer relationships. Recently, the company added an AI interface to its software, garnering increased industry attention. In April 2026, it was officially featured at the Google Cloud Next conference.
