Temu Partners with CTT to Deepen Logistics Collaboration in the Iberian Peninsula

Ebrun Original: On December 16, it was reported that Portuguese postal service CTT and cross-border e-commerce platform Temu have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further strengthen their logistics collaboration in the Iberian Peninsula and promote the business development of local European sellers.

This agreement deepens the existing partnership, focusing on cross-border logistics coordination and support for Temu's local seller program. Sellers can leverage comprehensive logistics solutions, including road and sea freight transportation, warehousing, and parcel delivery, to accelerate their entry into the global market.

It is understood that the collaboration will help build a more integrated, efficient, and competitive logistics system, driving the regional supply chain towards greater flexibility and sustainability.

CTT stated: "We are delighted to further deepen our collaboration with Temu, a rapidly growing global e-commerce platform. We share a common vision for efficient and sustainable logistics. This strategic agreement allows us to fully leverage our operational strengths and low-carbon transportation practices to support more European sellers and foster innovation and value creation in the logistics industry."

Data shows that Temu has experienced rapid growth since entering the Portuguese and Spanish markets.

According to its transparency report, user numbers in the Spanish market grew by approximately 15.6% in the first half of 2025; Sensor Tower statistics indicate that in the third quarter, Temu's monthly active users in Portugal reached approximately 1.7–2 million, accounting for about 20% of the population, demonstrating steady growth in local market penetration.

In fact, as early as November 2023, CTT announced a partnership with Temu, becoming Temu's exclusive delivery partner in Portugal and a strategic logistics partner in Spain, providing last-mile delivery services for Temu's online orders. In February 2025, the collaboration expanded further to cover the Azores and Madeira autonomous regions of Portugal.

It is reported that CTT (Correios de Portugal) is Portugal's national postal and integrated logistics group, founded in 1520, and is one of the key logistics providers in the Iberian Peninsula. Beyond traditional postal services, CTT has mature capabilities in e-commerce fulfillment, cross-border logistics, warehousing, distribution, and last-mile delivery, covering the Portuguese and Spanish markets.
