On-demand Fashion + Fabric Reuse: SHEIN Partners with Designer Brands
[Ebrun Original] Recently, the famous Australian designer Alice McCall announced a collaboration with the online fashion and lifestyle retailer SHEIN. The two parties use SHEIN's flexible on-demand supply chain for production, with the fabrics sourced from SHEIN’s "Fabric Reuse in the Industry" project.
They utilize SHEIN's flexible on-demand supply chain to produce in small batches and dynamically match future supplies based on market feedback in real time. This method maximally reduces production waste from the source and significantly decreases inventory waste. At the same time, the fabrics for the products are sourced from the textile recycling collaboration between SHEIN and the global circular economy technology company Queen of Raw.
Alice McCall's products, ranging from $15 bandeaus to $120 dresses, will provide SHEIN platform consumers with more elegantly designed, minimalist fashion products. Meanwhile, SHEIN’s innovative Chinese flexible on-demand supply chain will further drive the transformation and evolution of the fashion industry.
